Admission Requirements

For starters, an undergraduate degree is a must for getting accepted into an MBA program. Schools may also require that applicants provide:

  • GMAT exam score
  • Relevant work experience
  • An up-to-date resume
  • Grade transcripts
  • References (academic and/or professional)

Keep in mind that requirements differ by program. Some schools require that you take an exam that they administer. Other factors such as motivation, essays, and even your personality may play a role.

What is the GMAT?

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) measures your ability to handle graduate-school level work through verbal, quantitative, and analytical reasoning questions.

Business school admissions committees use your score to gauge your abilities and compare it with those of other potential attendees.
